This is the main concept applied at SACI – Sekolah Alam Cinta Indonesia (Indonesian Nature School), one of the flagship programs of the YACI Foundation.
Learning in nature provides a rich, hands-on experience full of sensory stimulation. Children can observe, touch, move, and explore freely but in a guided manner. These activities help children develop curiosity, courage, and problem-solving skills naturally.
The Montessori approach, combined with nature-based learning, also encourages children to be independent and responsible for their choices. Children learn at their own pace, without pressure, but within structured boundaries.
